Ministry Heading
"Sister Chicks," the women's Ministry of Emmanuel, is a ministry built around service. Our ladies are constantly serving in various capacities within the in-reach and outreach programs of EBC. They are Nursery Workers, Sunday School teachers, AWANA leaders, Kidz Praiz directors, bereaved meal coordinators, choir members, hospitality coordinators, help with ECS functions, host bake sales, direct children's pageants, help with major events such as the July 4 Fireworks Festival and Judgement House. Truth is...our ladies are constantly serving.

One of the primary objectives of "Sister Chicks" is to serve those servers by offering times of refreshment through quarterly breakfasts, women's Bible studies, hosting local women's conferences, and taking trips to national women's conferences; in addition to many on-going and low key opportunities. "Sister Chicks" is striving to bridge the generational gap between our younger and older women. Our senior ladies have so much to teach our youth and our youth have much to teach our seniors. Saturday classes are being planned, so we can learn from one another. Classes will include everything from making Ginger Bread Houses, to cake decorating, to bow tying; and will be taught by our own ladies, who are extremely talented and gifted in service. "Sister Chicks" strives to help our ladies stay in touch, to know their needs, to encourage them, and to thank them for all they do.
